This listing is for one HALF YARD (18”x44”) piece of ice dyed Patina base (by Robert Kaufman) cotton fabric in the colorway shown. This base is sooooo silky and soft, yet crisp! It is slightly lighter weight than Kona, but I feel it takes the dye even better than Kona does. It is perfect for quilting - it irons up real nicely! - or any other fabric crafts! It is 100% combed cotton poplin, and my preferred fabric base (both professionally and personally).
The exact piece will be seller’s choice. All pieces within colorways are similar colors but not exactly the same, due to the variations in the dye process. All are dyed uniquely in a small batch, and one of a kind.
These fabrics have been dyed using non-toxic Procion fiber reactive synthetic dyes, and are considered permanent.
IMPORTANT WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: These fabrics have been washed using a textile detergent and Color Catchers, though I highly recommend pre-washing again (separate from other items) before use, to prevent any possible color bleeding in a future project. This is particularly important for vibrant or dark colorways, pastel colorways not as much. I am not responsible for any dye transfer. These fabrics are machine washable in warm or hot water but please line dry to keep colors vibrant - tumble dry on low if necessary. May be ironed. Fabrics may shrink slightly.
IMPORTANT NOTE : All pieces are pre-cut.
